Third Conference of States Parties (CSP3)

The third annual ordinary session of the Conference of States Parties to the Arms Trade Treaty was held at the Centre INternational de Conférences Genève (CICG), in Geneva, Switzerland from 11 - 15 September 2017.

Preparations for the Conference included an open meeting on 02 November 2016 held at the WMO Building in Geneva from 10:00 - 11:30 am, as well as three informal preparatory meetings were held in Geneva on 16 February, 07 April and 01 June 2017.

In addition, the three ATT Working Groups established by the Second Conference of States Parties held meetings as follows in conjunction with the informal preparatory meetings:

• Working Group on Effective Treaty Implementation (WGETI): 06-07 February and 29 May 2017;
• Working Group on Transparency and Reporting (WGTR): 08 February, 06 April and 30 May 2017; and
• Working Group on Treaty Universalization (WGTU): 09 February and 31 May 2017.
