What is it the ATT Sponsorship Programme?
Background
Following
the decision of the Fourth Conference of States Parties (CSP4) that the
administration of the ATT sponsorship programme should be entrusted to
the ATT Secretariat from CSP4, a sponsorship programme has been
established to facilitate the participation of State representatives in
ATT meetings (see paragraph 34 of the Final Report of CSP4 held from 20-24 August 2018 (ATT/CSP4/2018/SEC/369/Conf.FinRep.Rev1)).
The
ATT Secretariat administers the ATT sponsorship programme in accordance
with the Administrative Guidelines adopted by the Fifth Conference of
States Parties to the ATT in August 2019 (see paragraph 30 of the Final Report of CSP5 held from 26-30 August 2019 (ATT/CSP5/2019/SEC/536/Conf.FinRep.Rev1).
